Harrier (Circus melanoleucos) is a predatory bird that's
distributed widely, from Pakistan and Mongolia to Singapore and
the Philippines. Like other members of its genus, it feeds heavily
on rodents, typically foraging by coursing low over the ground.
The African Pied Wagtail (Motacilla aguimp) ranges over
most of the African continent, where it spends much of its time
on the ground, where it lays two to seven speckled eggs in a
loosely-woven grass cup. |
